Thanks for the nomination, Clare, but the credit really has to go to Pamela who is both consultant and co-worker. She grows only flowers in her garden and sees mine as her private allotment.

Pamela wants me to update as follows: old crop of perpetual spinach dug up and new seeds put in; spring onions planted. We've had two pickings of Salad Bowl (perpetual) lettuce. Courgettes about to flower. All we need is sun!
